Welcome to Loop. These Terms of Use constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Loop Labs LLC ("Loop," "we," "us," or "our") governing your access to and use of our mobile application, websites, and platform services.
By creating an account or using Loop in any way, you're agreeing to these Terms. If something here doesn't work for you, we'd ask that you don't use the platform.
You must be at least 13 to use Loop. If you're under 18, a parent or guardian needs to be on board. Your account is your responsibility — keep your login secure and own what happens through it.
We're constantly improving Loop. That means features, reward tiers, algorithms, and interfaces may change without advance notice. We'll always aim to communicate meaningful changes, but we can't guarantee it for every update.
We collect certain information to make Loop work — things like your name, email, device identifiers, location (via IP), and listening behavior. This helps us personalize your experience, keep the platform secure, and verify that ad impressions are legitimate.
Loop is ad-supported, which means we work with advertising partners and standard attribution tools to measure ad delivery. Device data is used to confirm that ad views are real, prevent bot abuse, and comply with regional privacy regulations.
We don't sell your data. Full stop. We share information only with the services we need to run the platform — authentication providers, verified ad partners, and payment processors required to handle payouts.
This Distribution Agreement applies exclusively to creators who submit audio assets, tracks, metadata, or custom media items to the Loop ecosystem.
When you upload a song using an Upload Token, you're confirming that you own it — or have the rights to distribute it. That includes the master recording, any samples, lyrics, and artwork. If something is cleared incorrectly, that's on you.
You retain full copyright equity over your art. However, by publishing to the platform, you grant Loop a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to stream, compress, index, distribute, recommend, and play back your assets across all platform discovery layers and programmatic ad channels.
Loop implements a pay-as-you-go model entirely free from monthly subscription premiums. Net advertising revenues generated explicitly by streaming plays of your songs are allocated under a fixed 70/30 distribution protocol model. The uploading artist receives seventy percent (70%) of verified programmatic play payouts, while the platform retains thirty percent (30%) to handle infrastructure maintenance and stream distribution costs.
Loop is built to nurture an open ecosystem connecting independent creators with organic listeners. We enforce a zero-tolerance policy against toxicity, hate speech, harassment, impersonation, and coordinate manipulation. All users must engage transparently across all discovery layers.
Violations of these guidelines can trigger tier-based sanctions at Loop’s sole discretion:
In compliance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. § 512), Loop responds expeditiously to notices of alleged infringement. All copyright claims must be compiled and directed exclusively to our Designated Copyright Agent:
Email: support@loopmusic.store
Corporate Entity: Loop Labs LLC
To be effective under Section 512(c)(3), your written notification must include the following elements:
If your content was removed via a DMCA action and you believe this occurred due to mistake or misidentification, you may submit a formal counter-notification to support@loopmusic.store containing your contact info, signature, identification of the removed file, and a statement consenting to the jurisdiction of the federal courts located in Tennessee under penalty of perjury. Loop will forward this to the original claimant. If the claimant does not file a court action within 10-14 business days, Loop will restore the material.
Loop maintains a strict automated tracking registry for copyright infringements. Any creator account that accumulates three (3) verified DMCA takedown actions will be classified as a Repeat Infringer. Upon the registration of the third strike, the account will be automatically and permanently terminated, all media files wiped from active servers, and all pending wallet distributions forfeited to cover administrative legal expenses.
Everything on Loop feeds into a single flywheel. Here's how it connects:
Loop operates a promotional, ad-supported listener engagement system known as Daily Quests. Daily Quests reward active listeners for discovering music, completing songs, and participating in the platform ecosystem.
Daily Quest progress accumulates throughout the day as users:
All Daily Quest progress resets globally at 12:00 AM each day. Unused progress does not carry forward into future calendar days.
To advance Daily Quest progress, a listening session must qualify as legitimate platform activity.
A listening session is considered qualified when:
Playback sessions generated through automation, artificial replay systems, or prohibited activity outlined in Section 12 are not eligible for Quest progression or reward calculations.
Each listener account receives three (3) complimentary skips. After all available skips have been used, an advertisement break must be completed before additional skips become available. Upon successful completion of an advertisement break, three (3) additional skips are automatically restored. This process may repeat throughout the listening experience.
Completion of Daily Quests may unlock promotional rewards, platform incentives, Boost allocations, or other engagement benefits as determined by Loop. Reward values, availability, and qualification requirements may vary over time and are subject to modification without notice.
Loop gives every user a direct line to flag content or behavior that doesn't belong here. Reports are reviewed by our moderation team and cross-referenced against our automated detection systems.
You'll find a report option on every song, profile, and comment inside the app. Tap the three-dot menu (⋯) and select Report. You'll be asked to pick a reason — choose the one that best fits. You don't need to add extra notes, but detail helps us move faster.
After you submit, you'll get a confirmation that we received it. We don't share your identity with the person you reported.
#AI tag.Our moderation team reviews every report, typically within 48 hours. Depending on findings, the outcome may range from a warning to content removal to a full account termination under the tier enforcement system described in Section 4.3. If we determine the reported content doesn't violate our policies, no action is taken — and we appreciate you flagging it anyway.
Reports are a trust-based tool. Filing reports in bad faith — for example, mass-reporting a competitor to suppress their visibility — is itself a violation of our Community Guidelines and may result in sanctions against your account.
The Loop user interface maintains a real-time ledger split into two dynamic tracking segments:
All promotional balances, Quest rewards, and ad-split royalties go through a 45-day verification window. Funds stay in a pending state until 45 days after the end of the month in which they were earned. This hold lets our fraud detection systems (Section 12) confirm that the underlying activity was legitimate before releasing funds.
All purchases on Loop — Upload Tokens and other digital items — are final. Because digital credits are delivered and activated immediately at checkout, we're not able to offer refunds after the fact. The one exception: if a confirmed double-charge occurs on our end, reach out to support within 10 days and we'll make it right.
Every audio file uploaded via an Upload Token must successfully clear a multi-tiered ingestion pipeline before publishing to public feeds. Loop utilizes automated acoustic fingerprinting libraries alongside manual moderation review boards to scan files for copyright infringement, malicious code artifacts, extreme explicit content, and metadata spam.
Loop reserves the absolute right to remove, de-index, or scrub any media asset immediately without prior notification if the item contains unlicensed samples, audio profiles designed to mimic white noise or silence to exploit Quest counts ("stream baiting"), or artwork violating our core Community Guidelines.
The upload and distribution of generative artificial intelligence tracks that clone, synthesize, or manipulate the distinct vocal traits, name, likeness, or performance signatures of established mainstream or independent artists without verified, legally documented bilateral contracts are strictly prohibited.
Creators are permitted to distribute material produced with assistive AI engineering tools (such as software tools used for mastering or rhythmic quantization alignment). However, if a song features prominent synthetically generated vocal tracks, musical arrangements, or lyrics, the Creator must explicitly apply the standard #AI metadata classification tag within the upload layout configuration.
Loop protects its ad partners and platform integrity through continuous monitoring. The following behaviors constitute fraud: Stream Farming — using bots, emulators, scripts, or click-farms to generate fake plays — and Ad Manipulation — using software to hide ads or simulate fake ad views.
The verification engine continuously parses account telemetry logs, focusing on identical client device hardware tokens operating multiple concurrent playback interfaces, continuous 24-hour playback streams displaying zero biometric scroll data, and abrupt geo-locational IP drift anomalies.
If fraud is confirmed, the consequences are immediate and permanent: account suspended, 100% of Pending and Verified Wallet balances clawed back, and the hardware identifier banned from re-registering on Loop. There is no appeal process for confirmed fraud findings.
To ensure structural legal continuity, all sections must be interpreted together according to this system grid:
